I found these beautiful buttons at home .. somehow reminded me of floral design on British pottery  from the Edwardian period ! I decided to use them to make earrings!
I added some pearls because they were widely used at that time

Marilyn Monroe on a gas station

Marilyn Monroe is one of my favorite divas from the past!I mean divas belong only to the past, today we have just girls that try to be something!
Well I was saying I like Marilyn Monroe, I have some kind of collection of objects with her figure on!I even have handcarechiefs and I start my day  drinking green tea from a Marilyn Monroe cup.
A few days ago I found this shopping PVC bag , one of those that are used for shopping at  grocery! I bought it of course (3euro)
I didn't like the simple black handles so I cut them!  I took an old white  belt with studs and put it in the place of the handles!I added a black cotton lining on the inside!
And here is my Marilyn Monroe bag ready for the summer ,summer trips and the beach!

By the way , I'm wearing : Polka dots shirt Nara Camicie,White jeans Miss Selfridge,Shoes Zara

These are my new brooches, once I made brooches in different colors but now summer is coming, so I decided to make these in marine theme and colors...I like marine theme!
To make them I've used vichy printed ribbons, white lace and  buttons!
They can be used for many things like: tops, on a shirt, on a dress,in your hair, on a necklace,on a  hat,on shoes ,sandals... everywhere

This is a different way to renew a pair of earrings you don't like! I had this simple metal earrings at home, never used them because I find them ugly and too ordinary! To make this operation I have used common sewing threads in shades of blue a chain and some decorations!
This are the pictures of how they were before and how they are now!
